First introduced in 2003 as an evolution of the original DYE Invision system, the i3 set new standards in comfort, coverage, and airflow. Its design became the defining look of professional paintball in the mid-2000s – worn and appreciated by top teams and players during a pivotal phase of the sport.
When the i3 series disappeared from production, it didn’t disappear from the playing field – it remained a topic of conversation. Players continued to seek it out, trade it amongst themselves, and demand its return. The combination of full coverage, flexibility, and breathability earned it a reputation that endures to this day.
Now, driven by years of demand, the DYE i3 Pro is back – not reinterpreted, not reinvented, but deliberately and consistently rebuilt.
The DYE i3 Pro features Tri-Mold Soft Flex technology: A rigid upper structure provides stability, while the softer, dual-density lower mask section adapts naturally to movement and communication. The anatomical design offers complete face coverage while maintaining high freedom of movement and wearing comfort.
Industry-leading anti-fog thermal lenses with a thermally molded double-lens construction guarantee clear vision in changing temperatures and conditions. The Scream Multi-Directional Venting System quickly dissipates heat and moisture, enabling clear, natural communication on the field.
Compression-molded ear protection offers lightweight, moisture-wicking comfort and flexible impact absorption. The multi-layered, fleece-covered, and compression-molded soft-touch foam system ensures a secure seal against the face, effective sweat management, and long-lasting comfort.
Rounded off by the Tiger-Teeth-Strap fixation, the DYE i3 Pro stays securely in place even during aggressive movements, slides and intense gameplay.
