The CM18 GMS CQBR represents the evolution of the Combat Machine platform by introducing G&G’s MIG (MOSFET Integrated Gearbox) technology into a compact CQB-focused rifle configuration.
Built around a reinforced polymer receiver, the rifle maintains excellent durability while reducing overall weight, allowing players to maintain manoeuvrability during fast-paced indoor engagements or tight urban environments. Metal reinforcement is used in key stress areas to ensure long-term structural reliability.
At the front of the rifle sits a full Picatinny handguard, offering multiple mounting positions for accessories such as vertical grips, lights, lasers, or rail-mounted equipment. This modular setup allows players to configure the rifle for their preferred CQB handling style.
Internally, the CM18 GMS CQBR uses G&G’s MIG Version 2 gearbox, which integrates MOSFET electronics directly into the gearbox assembly. This design improves trigger response, protects internal electrical components, and provides programmable functionality depending on configuration.
The drivetrain is powered by G&G’s original long-axis motor rated at approximately 25,000 RPM, providing rapid cycling and responsive semi-automatic performance. The gearbox is supported by 8 mm steel bushings, ensuring stable gear rotation and long-term reliability.
Accuracy is supported by a 275 mm inner barrel paired with an adjustable hop-up chamber, allowing players to fine-tune BB trajectory for consistent close-range performance. The outer barrel features a 14 mm CCW thread, enabling the installation of suppressors, tracer units, or other muzzle accessories.
A true quick-change spring system allows users to adjust power levels quickly without removing the gearbox, making the rifle adaptable for different site limits or environments.
At the rear of the rifle, a six-position crane stock houses the rear-wired battery configuration, allowing players to adjust length of pull while maintaining balanced weight distribution.
Supplied with a 30-round polymer magazine, the CM18 GMS CQBR delivers a realistic magazine profile while remaining fully compatible with standard M4 AEG magazines for extended gameplay flexibility.
