Cyma Platinum CM.106A (AR-9) – Overview & Features

Platform & Purpose
The CM.106A is a compact AR‑9-style airsoft AEG, blending M4/AR15 ergonomics with MP5 influences, optimised for fast, close-quarters (CQB) gameplay.

Build & Exterior Design

• Construction: Largely full-metal (receiver, handguard, upper/lower parts) with select polymer components (magazine, grip, stock cover, sights)

• Handguard: CNC‑machined M‑LOK with a full-length top Picatinny rail; comes with a vertical foregrip and hand-stop fitted, plus QD sling swivel attachments.

• Sights: Polymer flip-up front and rear sights mountable on the Picatinny rail; adjustable for windage and elevation .

• Flash Hider / Sound Amplifier: Pre-installed compact muzzle device on a 14 mm CCW thread. It produces a distinct “boom” when fired—a psychological edge in CQB—and is recessed for a sleek appearance .

• Receiver and Controls:

  • Alloy receiver with a hard-wearing matte black finish; includes realistic details like a shortened dust cover, shell deflector, pressable—but non-functional—forward assist, and a low-profile charging handle.
